Practitioner-delivered

Training

Three courses, each taught by someone who does the work rather than someone who teaches the course. Practical, scenario-led, and set in your own context.

01

Open-source research foundation

£1,400 – £2,400One day · up to 12 delegates · on site or remote

Who it is for: Investigators, HR, compliance, procurement, journalists

By the end, delegates can
  • Structure a research task from a question rather than a keyword
  • Search public registers, corporate records and archives properly
  • Verify images, documents and accounts, and recognise manipulation
  • Grade sources and information, and record provenance as you go
  • Stay on the right side of data protection law while doing it
  • Know when to stop — the point at which more searching adds nothing
02

Hostile reconnaissance recognition

£700 – £1,200Half day · unlimited delegates · on site

Who it is for: Venue, stewarding, front-of-house, security and facilities staff

By the end, delegates can
  • Understand the attack planning cycle and where it becomes visible
  • Recognise reconnaissance behaviour as distinct from ordinary odd behaviour
  • Know what to do with a concern, and to whom, within your own procedures
  • Understand why reporting the unremarkable matters
  • Practise against realistic scenarios set in your own building

Frequently bought alongside a Martyn's Law assessment — it discharges the staff awareness element of the duty.

03

Intelligence writing and briefing

£1,400 – £2,200One day · up to 10 delegates · on site or remote

Who it is for: Analysts, investigators, risk and compliance teams, anyone writing for a board

By the end, delegates can
  • Lead with the judgement — bottom line up front, every time
  • Separate what you know from what you assess, visibly
  • Use probability and confidence language that means something specific
  • Write for a decision-maker who will give you ninety seconds
  • Handle uncertainty without hedging into uselessness
  • Deliver a verbal brief that survives interruption
04

In-house and bespoke

All three courses are delivered in house by default, which is usually better — scenarios set in your own building land differently from generic ones. We will adapt content to your sector, and combine elements across courses where that fits your team better than any single one.

Travel within the Eastern region is included. Elsewhere in England and Wales it is charged at cost.

Tell us who needs training and why.

We will propose a format, an outline and a fee. If a half day covers what you need, we will not sell you a full one.
